Late Equalizer Denies PSIM Victory as Persib Survives Penalty Drama
The clash between PSIM and Persib in Week 3 of the 2025–2026 Super League ended in a thrilling 1-1 draw. The match stretched beyond 100 minutes and saw two dramatic penalty misses.
Hosted at Sultan Agung Stadium in Bantul on Saturday, August 23, 2025, the game was fiercely contested from the first whistle, with both sides launching relentless attacks. PSIM finally broke the deadlock in the 64th minute when Ze Valente calmly converted a penalty after Julio Cesar committed a foul.

Persib was then awarded another penalty in the 90+17th minute, but Marc Klok’s attempt was brilliantly saved by Cahya Supriadi. Consequently, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
